Syracuse Orange at Miami Hurricanes Basketball

Rion Brown of the Miami Hurricanes.

Syracuse rolled through the first half of their season, and have continued winning now that the conference season is underway. They rely on their smothering 2-3 zone to stifle opponents offenses, limit turnovers, and stay poised during the few times they have been behind this year. Miami lost a lot of talent from last season, but they have continued to improve throughout this year. They played the Orange tough several weeks ago, and know what they have to do to win -- slow things down defensively and make Syracuse execute the half-court game, while knocking down jumpers on the offensive end to extend the zone and open up the lane. Sounds easy enough, but nobody has been able to accomplish it for a full 40 minutes yet this year.
