Stanford Cardinal at USC Trojans Football

Marqise Lee of the USC Trojans.

Stanford did it again last weekend.  By beating Oregon they ended the Ducks' chance at a National Championship, and put themselves in a position to win the Pac-12 North and have a chance at the Rose Bowl once again. They are clearly beatable, as Utah proved, but they have learned a lot since that loss, and have made the improvements needed each week to keep winning. USC is going to do everything they can to get that win though, as they have had a bit of a tumultous season, losing games fans thought they should win, ending in the firing of their coach. The Arizona St. loss was not as bad as it initially seemed though, as the Sun Devils are legit this year, and the Trojans have played well in the games since. They have the pieces and talent needed to get the upset, but it will definitely be an uphill battle against what has proven to be an almost elite Stanford team.
