Everybody knew South Carolina was good, but nobody knew how good until their complete dismantling of Georgia last weekend. At the same time, LSU was losing a battle with Florida and failing to score a single touchdown. This game is a huge one for both teams and the SEC. A win by South Carolina sets up a three team battle for the top of the SEC and puts LSU out of the National Championship picture and likely out of contention in the SEC, while a win by LSU puts them right back in the thick of things.
