Pittsburgh Penguins at Philadelphia Flyers
The NHL season is finally starting and NBC will be showing one of two games today. You will get to see either the Penguins take on the Flyers, or Blackhawks battling the Kings.
The Penguins/Flyers game will showcase not just in-state rivals, but two playoff teams from last season. The Penguins were heavily favored to beat the Flyers, but Philadelphia took the playoff win easily, so Pittsburgh would love some payback. These teams don't like each other much, and their games tend to be heavy on the penalties, so expect some fun action when the inevitable power plays occur.
