This new biopic is written and directed by David Mamet and features Al Pacino, Helen Mirren, and Jeffrey Tambor. Oh, and Barry Levinson serves as an executive producer. Listen, just because you've put together a good cast and crew doesn't mean you instantly have a success on your hands, but you do have a better chance. What does that mean? It means that all the pieces are in place here for a pretty darn good biopic on music producer Phil Spector. Will all those pieces come together to make a great movie? Well, we shall see... we shall see.
