NHL Finals: New Jersey Devils at Los Angeles Kings
Jun 06, 2012TV Network - NBCSN
The Kings keep rolling and now have a 3-0 lead after blanking the Devils in Game 3. The Kings jumped to a 3-0 lead for their fourth straight playoff series, something no other team has ever done, and did so on stellar penalty kill play. Jonathan Quick stopped a total of six power plays, but the big one came in the first period. The Devils had a two man advantage and couldn't get a goal. This set the Staples Center on fire, and set the tone for the rest of the game. The Kings are one game away, will they take it at home, or will they have to travel back to New Jersey?

The Kings continued their winning ways and head home for Game 3 with a 2-0 lead, after their overtime win in Game 2. Jonathan Quick made 32 saves for the Kings, and got the winning goal in overtime from Jeff Carter. The Devils looked good, and couldn't really have played much better. They defended and attacked well, but the Kings just keep coming. It is now Los Angeles' series to win or lose, and with home ice advantage for the next two games, and the quality hockey they have been playing, things are definitely in their favor.
