NHL Finals: Los Angeles Kings at New Jersey Devils

Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils

At the outset of the NHL Playoffs few would have predicted a final between the Kings and the Devils.  The Kings were the lowest-ranked team in their conference to make the playoffs, and the Devils were number six (out of eight).  And yet, through several rounds of the playoffs both teams have repeatedly provben that they deserved not just a spot in the playoffs, but a chance to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup at the end of the finals as well.  The finals begin tonight.
