NHL Finals: Chicago Blackhawks at Boston Bruins

    Jun 19, 2013

    TV Network - NBC

Boston picked up the win in game 3 with a surprising shutout of the usually brilliant Blackhawks offense. Chicago scratched Hossa late in the warm-ups and even with the depth of Chicago's line, he was clearly missed. Whether he will be playing in game 4, and whether the team can handle things mentally with one of their team leaders not on the ice are questions that remain unanswered. Chicago will have to figure things out quickly though, because a win in this one for Boston gives the Bruins a huge leg up in the series.

NHL Finals: Chicago Blackhawks at Boston Bruins

    Jun 17, 2013

    TV Network - NBCSN

Boston did not look good in the first period of game 2, but they came out of it only down 1-0. They promptly turned things around and held the Blackhawks scoreless the rest of the game. The Bruins didn't do much scoring themselves, but managed to tie things up in the third and force overtime. They picked up the winning goal in the 2nd overtime, which tied the series at 1-1. This game was more of  a defensive effort than game 1, but the results were much the same. Fantastic hockey between two great teams that brought multiple overtimes. Game 3 could prove to be different, but it certainly doesn't seem like there will be any blowouts in this series.
