NHL Eastern Conference Playoff: New York Rangers at Washington Capitals
New York outlasted Washington in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Somebody had to win, and after 3 overtimes and 4.5 hours of playing New York got a goal from Marian Gaborik to finally put an end to Game 3. The effort from both teams defensively was impressive, and both goalies stopped at least 45 shots. Neither team will come in to Game 4 well rested, so expect higher scoring on some extra power plays.
