UNLV started the season strong, but struggled a bit in the middle. They finished strong as well and ended up third in the very strong Mountain West. They face California who played poorly all season, except a stretch where they beat UCLA, Arizona, and Oregon twice. If that California team shows up, they could cause UNLV problems, but the Rebels will likely continue their tough play, and dispense of the Bears.
