The Spurs continued their win streak and picked up the early 1-0 lead in the series. Ginobli had 26 points for the Spurs and helped lead a fourth quarter surge that erased a 9-point lead for the Thunder.  Oklahoma looked like they might get the win, but they let up in the last quarter, just as San Antonio was starting to build a little momentum, allowing the Spurs to win their 19th straight game.  Game 2 will see some adjustments in defense for the Thunder, and hopefully a little more input from Harden and Westbrook, but whatever happens it should be another great game out West.

This series between the Thunder and the Spurs is shaping up to be a great one.  Both teams are playing excellent team-oriented basketball, great defense, and are simply out-hustling their opponents.  The Spurs didn't lose a single game in their first two series, while the Thunder only lost one game in each series.  Game 1 will set the tone for the rest of the match-up, and should be great for any fan who loves to see high quality basketball played at a high level.
