State Farm All-Star Saturday Night will be an event pitting West vs. East in four competitions. Each conference will be competing for charity. A total of $500,000 will be donated at the end of the night. For each competition $100,000 will go to the winning conference's charities, with $25,000 going to the charities of the runner-up.
The Sears Shooting Stars contest features one current NBA player, one current WNBA player, and one NBA legend on each team.
The Taco Bell Skills Challenge was introduced at NBA All-Star 2003 in Atlanta and features players competing in a two-round timed "obstacle course" consisting of dribbling, passing and shooting stations.
The NBA's best from behind the arc will take part in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, with the eight players competing in a two-round competition.
This marks the first time in 26 years that three All-Stars are competing in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. This year's event will feature the participants competing as a team -- three players representing the Eastern Conference and three players representing the Western Conference -- in an above-the-rim two-round format.
