Michigan State is currently tied for first in the Big 10, but are just starting a brutal stretch in their schedule. They face Indiana before this game, and then take on Michigan and Wisconsin. Ohio State is finishing up the hardest part of their schedule and have dropped 3 of 4 before facing Minnesota, and now the Spartans. Ohio State will need this win to keep their tournament prospects high, but Michigan State has looked really impressive in their last few games, so it won't come easy for the Buckeyes.
