Boston just recently had a six-game winning streak, solidifying their spot at eighth in the Eastern conference, and looking a lot more like a playoff contender than earlier in the season. The big difference in that stretch was their defense. They made a lot more stops and kept the score lower, taking pressure off the offensive end. Miami is a lock for the playoffs, but have been a little inconsistent this season. If Boston can keep up the defensive intensity, they could beat Miami, but it has to start on the defensive end, because there is no way the Celtics can simply outscore James and company.
