Michael Beresh of americana group the Country Devils set out in September of 2009 on a new project recounting the events of his great uncle’s WWII travels (Walter Beresh) through music. The evening of March 6th 2010 will be a celebratory stroll down memory lane featuring members of the Baltimore Afro-Beat Society, Country Devils, Arc & Sender, Lawn Chair and Jazz singer Karla Chisholm, as well as many other local Baltimore musicians. The east avenue jazz quartet led by Bob Brooks featuring Karla Chisholm open the show with a wonderful set of popular jazz standards from the day. Arcadia Books author Gary Helton narrates the evening.
