SpongeBob, that lovable character who lives in a pineapple under the sea, has been a mainstay of Nickelodeon for longer than we care to remember. And now--now--SpongeBob is hitting CBS in a stop-motion animation special entitled "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!" John Goodman will be playing Santa in this special which features Plankton trying to get Krusty Krab's Krabby Patty formula. We aren't exactly sure how Santa figures into the entire adventure, but it's a SpongeBob story which means that he may not, he may just magically appear for no particular reason at all.
