Inside NASCAR

We will admit--although not happily--we don't understand the world of NASCAR.  We actually see it as a great failing in who we are.  We love the idea of car racing and play plenty of video games which feature it, but we don't understand it.  We know, because the promos constantly tell us as much, that the Daytona 500 is 'The Great American Race,' but we don't know what that means.  It is our distinct hope that the folks tonight on "Inside NASCAR" can tell us everything we need to know about Daytona and how the cars work and what it means that 'rubbin' is racin.''  We aren't sure we'll ever understand, but we desperately want to.
