This year will mark the 16th consecutive year for the Hollywood Film Awards Gala. In the press release announcing this year's date, the Hollywood Awards noted that "in the last 9 years, a total of 85 Oscar nominations and 32 Oscars were given to the honorees of the Hollywood Film Awards." Awards Season is pushed into the next gear tonight.
