In our estimation\, Charlie Brown is such a great character because he's this guy to whom we can all relate. \; He is just an avera ge guy (except for the bald thing). \; We don't actually think that his life is as sad as it seems on these specials\, rather we think that we're getting more of Charlie Brown's POV which skews things somewhat. \; On the other hand\, as bad as things may sometimes get for the guy\, don't you sometimes wish you were Charlie Brown anyway (and not just so that you cou ld pine for a little red haired girl\, although we sometimes do that)?
