French Open Womens's Final: Maria Sharapova vs. Simona Halep

Simona Halep makes it to the French Open Final.

This year's French Open saw many of the top seeds bow out early but two top players still managed to make it through. It certainly doesn't seem like it, but Halep is the higher ranked player in this final, and is no easy walk over for Sharapova. Maria is still making her comeback from a recurring shoulder problem, and has looked mighty impressive while taking down her opponents. That being said, Halep has carved her way through the field, not even losing one set in this tournament. Having been in this position before, and having four Grand Slam titles under her belt, the mental edge goes to Sharapova, but Halep seems more than ready to trade shots with her.
