A Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman (Ryan Gosling) discovers that a contract has been put on him after a heist gone wrong.
Albert Brooks, Carey Mulligan, Christina Hendricks, Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman also star in the film which has nods to '80s thrillers also set in Los Angeles. The picture took the best director honor for Nicolas Winding Refn ("Bronson") at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
