As has been well-publicized, Danica Patrick has earned the pole position for the Great American Race, the Daytona 500. Patrick is the first woman to ever have pole position for the race and the sort of driving that earned her the spot is the exact sort of driving she'll need to exhibit once more if she wants to still be out front come the checkered flag.
The 200 lap--500 mile--race is scheduled to start at 1pm Eastern which should mean that you have plenty of time to watch the entirety of the race before cleaning up and resetting your living room for the Academy Awards. FOX has your TV coverage for the event.
