Lose, and they are out, giving up the wild card spot to Chicago, Minnesota, or New York. Washington is also trying to win the division, and they might need the win to get into they playoffs as well. They should know by kickoff time the results of the Minnesota and Chicago games, letting them know if they are in the same win-or-go-home position as the Cowboys.
