It is premiere time for "24" and its eighth season.  Taking a cue from Jason, Jack will be venturing to the isle of Manhattan for Part VIII, though we imagine he won't be donning a hockey mask. 

Yes, here we are again, it is another of the longest days in Jack Bauer's life.  Threats abound, destruction awaits, and only man has what it takes to save the world.  Bauer, Jack Bauer.  Do not make the mistake of believing that being a grandfather is going to slow down our Jack at all.  We may not agree with his methods, we may not like the fact that he operates outside the law and the bounds of decency, but it does make for some pretty compelling television.
