Score_big Alexandre Desplat is an absolute force of nature, prolific as all hell and never covering terrain he's already mastered. There's delicate stuff from Jóhann Jóhannsson and Thomas Newman (a perennial favorite no matter the film) and bombast from Hans Zimmer and Steven Price. Can Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross and Antonio Sanchez spark with atypical work? And what of Marco Beltrami's handsome new entry in the western genre (after already scoring, so to speak, with another such example in 2007's "3:10 to Yuma")?
