Kumail Nanjiani is one of my favorite comics in the whole entire big wide world. He's just so funny and charming, and he always has this look on his face like he's in on some secret joke with himself -- which is probably exactly what's going on. I tried to get myself privy to the mysterious humor inside Kumail's head by asking him 6 totally stupid questions -- and I totally understand it now, you guys!

If you're hungering for more Kumail (in, like, a metaphorical way -- please don't try to eat him), you can download his comedy special "Beta Male" from the Comedy Central site for 5 buckaroos. And it even includes a joke about a mongoose.

Liana Maeby grew up in Los Angeles and it has made her just as terrible as you'd expect. A graduate of USC's film school, she previously worked as an editor for Crushable.com, and has written for publications like Interview and The Village Voice. Her first book, a satirical work entitled "Earl Can Hurl (You Can Hurl Too)" written when she was eight, remains unpublished.
