Didn’t get enough “Heroes” in Moulin Rouge!? Ewan McGregor only sang a few bars of the David Bowie song for a medley in the Baz Luhrmann’s sparkling, stylish musical. But he belted out the whole song in a for-charity tribute to the late singer at Los Angeles venue the Roxy on Monday night.

A video of his performance has hit the web, and it’s clear he’s got just as glorious a set of pipes as he did when Moulin Rouge! was made 15 years ago (and when he sang for the Bowie- and Iggy Pop-inspired Velvet Goldmine).

Watch McGregor’s performance of “Heroes” below. If this results in you in a puddle on the floor, though, dont say we didnt warn you.

Ray LaMontagne drops first banger of 2016

Ray LaMontagne drops first banger of 2016

After the release of SUPERNOVA in 2014, I was a little unsure when the world might get its next Ray LaMontagne record.

Worry not! This morning "Hey, No Pressure" the first single off OUROBOROS (due out on March 4th) dropped.

I couldn't be more excited by this track. I dig that the entire six minutes is built off that one fuzzy guitar riff. This track has Dan Auerbach's production oozing all over it, so I'd be surprised if they weren't teaming up again for this record.

March can't come soon enough!

Finally, here's Audra McDonald slaying as Billie Holiday on HBO

Audra McDonald has won six Tony Awards, and she's the only person to win in all four competitive Tony acting categories -- Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play, Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, and Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play.

That's staggering enough. But just listen to her vocals as she plays Billie Holiday in HBO's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, a small screen adaptation of the last production to win McDonald a Tony.

David Bowie's 1998 Proust questionnaire is hilarious

"Which living person do you most admire? Elvis."

Though the Proust questionnaire is perhaps most familiar to viewers of French TV host Bernard Pivot, who administered the questionnaire to guests in the 1970s and '80s, viewers of Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio know that host James Lipton asks his own versions of the questions too. In 1998, the late David Bowie answered the questions for a Vanity Fair piece. Predictably, his answers are perfect.
