Sorry for the double-post. Is there a way to edit posts?
I wanted to add that, all timeslots being equal and if this midseason works out the way that ABC is hoping it does, a logical idea would be to pair up all six of ABC's single-cam sitcoms from 8-11 on Wednesday next year. The 8-9:30 block stays as is, and then Don't Trust the B--/Happy Endings/Cougar Town (with maybe the last two flipped). ABC could then find a compatible multi-cam for Last Man Standing.
Of course, there are other factors to consider. Revenge would have to move, which is a risky move for a show that's finally working in a troubled slot for ABC. And then there's still the question of whether comedy will work at 10. It didn't last spring for ABC or NBC, although those experiments had numerous issues with scheduling and promotion.
It would be a bold move for ABC, but certainly not without risks.
