March 21, 2012 at 3:32PM EST Reply to CommentHow can there be a reader rating when, presumably, your readers haven't seen the episode in question yet? It doesn't seem that D is based off feelings from the pilot, as that episode got a readers' rating of B+.
This show just seems too cloying for my taste. Having said that, the Mike Novick/Jack Bauer reunion almost has me on board. If Agent Aaron Pierece or Tony Almeida make an appearance, I think I'll have to watch...
sepinwall You'll be happier if you can remember Mike and Jack without this being part of their story. Trust me.

March 21, 2012 at 9:26PM EST Reply to CommentI wonder if someone in the UK will rip this off, for $100 an episode, that turns out to be much better than the original (like Heros --> Misfits).

March 21, 2012 at 11:15PM EST Reply to CommentIt's funny, but everything you say about how the second episode fails basically sums up how I felt the pilot failed. I can't even really wrap my head around how the second episode could be so much worse, though I'm almost curious....almost.

March 23, 2012 at 12:47AM EST Reply to CommentI couldn't agree more with Mr. Sepinwall's assessment of this show. Its a shame Mr. Sutherland's considerable talent and clout have been wasted on this sappy, poorly written show. I found myself cringing in pain at the Danny Glover linen about "cosmic pain." I hope Mr. Sutherland's next project is more watchable.
