Rihanna has tapped Justin Timberlake to produce her next album, which will be "a little more grown up" than her smash 2007 album "Good Girl Gone Bad," according to Timberlake.

Also producing are U.K. dance music team Chase & Status, otherwise known as Saul Milton and Will Kennard. Rolling Stone reports that Milton told the BBC, "On one track she came up with some cool melodies and cool ideas, the kind of vibe she wanted. This album for her is just about what she likes and what she's into and what she wants. If she's not into the vibe she'll be like, 'Nope, I don't think it's for me.' "

There's no set release date yet for Rihanna's album and no hint of any guest artists, although we know one singer who won't be on it-or within 500 feet....

Timberlake seems quite content to work behind the scenes as a producer or as a special guest on records by [insert your name here]. He also recently scored his second Emmy for his work on "Saturday Night Live." But at some point, Justin, we're begging you; we need a follow up to 2006's "Future Sex/Love Sounds."
