Watch: Taylor Swift reacts adorably to her four CMA nominations
Her appearance on 'Good Morning America' will have you hugging Mom, too
Taylor Swift prepares to watch the CMA nominations announced live on "Good Morning America"
As professional as 19-year-old Taylor Swift often acts, almost preternaturally so, there are also times when instead of her usual 19-going-on 40 she's 19-going-on-15 and it's adorable.
Watch here as she reacts to her four CMA Awards nominations as they are announced this morning on ABC's "Good Morning America." She couldn't be that surprised by some of them, but her reaction to her Entertainer of the Year nomination is touching as she hugs her mom, who is lounging on a hotel bed with her, and calls her dad.
Entertainer of the year remains a boys club: only six female acts have won the trophy since Eddy Arnold snared the first one in 1967. The last to do so were the Dixie Chicks in 2000. Should she win, she will be the youngest country artist to do so.
Brad Paisley, who will repeat as co-host with Carrie Underwood, topped all nominees with six nods. The 43rd annual CMA Awards will air Nov. 11 on ABC.

September 9, 2009 at 9:39PM EST Reply to CommentTaylor Swift is an acceptable & viable act for 21st Century New Country. But if career deathbed converter Rucker & Z Brown whose songs are souless cookie cutter laundry list jobs win anything but best con artist, I'm done w/the CMA.

November 12, 2009 at 3:36PM EST Reply to CommentDarius rucker has an extradordinary country voice. the man was born to be a country singer. Zack Brown also has an excellent country sound. Now Taylor Swift ia a no talent. She should be in pop music.. she does in NO way sing country music.
