Another day, another festival line up. I can't keep them straight any more. Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boysand  Kings of Leon will headline the Austin City Limits Music Festival, the Oct. 2-4 event that takes place at Austin's Zilker Park.

More than 130 bands will appear across the eight stages over the three days. Among the other acts on the bill are Ben Harper and Relentless7, Thievery Corporation, John Legend, Mos Def, Lily Allen, Arctic Monkeys, Avett Brothers, Bon Iver, the B-52s, Sonic Youth, the Decemberists and Flogging Molly.

For fans of the long-running PBS music concert series,  the mission of  the Austin City Limits Festival is pretty self-explanatory. But for those who may have never caught the magnificent program, the goal is to present artists whose stock-in-trade is great songwriting, performing and musicianship. The genre doesn't matter, although It's not for the diva of the moment (although, Lady GaGa could probably do a kick-ass set on ACL).

Three-day passes are on sale now for $185.
