It will be a colorful MTV Video Music Awards: both Pink and Green Day are slated to take the stage for the Sept. 13 awards.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards return to New York (after last year's Los Angeles stint) and Radio City Music Hall. Also performing are Taylor Swift and Muse. Slated to present are Katy Perry, Ne-Yo and Chace Crawford. British comedian/actor Russell Brand will return to host.
