Country superstar Keith Urban will hit 58 cities on his North American tour, which kicks off in May. The tour follows the March 31 release of Urban's still-untitled new CD. The album is his first studio album since 2006's "Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing." Much has happened to Urban since that album that should provide great songwriting fodder, including getting clean and having his first child with Nicole Kidman. The album is fronted by first single "Sweet Thing," which is climbing Billboard's Top Country Songs chart. "Sweet Thing" is Urban's 19th Top 40 country hit.

Tour dates will be announced soon, but will include Philadelphia, Little Rock, Tulsa, Pittsburgh, St. Paul, Chicago and most major markets. He's also landed an impressive list of opening acts. Although who will appear when and where is still being decided, the impressive list of supporting artists is Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Glen Campbell and the Zac Brown Band.
