Pete Wentz and Bart Simpson together? D'oh! Fall Out Boy has recorded "The Simpsons" theme song. Their rendition will air during the Jan. 25th episode on Fox. Insiders know that the band and the brilliant cartoon have always had a link. Fall Out Boy takes its name from Fallout Boy, the sidekick to Radioactive Man, the comic book character who first appeared in "The Simpsons" episode titled "Three Men and a Comic Book."

In other Fall Out Boy news, the band starts a six-week arena tour April 3 at Phoenix's Mesa Amphitheater. The outing is in support of the band's excellent new album, "Folie A Deux." The CD, which, deservedly so, has garnered FOB the best reviews of its career, hasn't sold as well as the band's past sellers, which is a shame. Patrick Stump's voice, one of the best in current rock, stretches and bends around notes and Wentz's biting lyrics provide a social commentary on our rampant consumerism. "Folie" deserves a resurgence and if you haven't listened to it yet, we encourage you to give it a shot.

FOB has launched its own iPhones application that allows fans to buy concert tix straight from their iPhones.
