The third and final trailer for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" hit the scene today, and given that Drew swore earlier not to watch it in a twitter post, It is left to me to bring it to you.

As the guy that puts up all the video on HitFix, I am not afforded the luxury of not viewing such things. I have to watch all the trailers and all the clips, and though it may somewhat lessen the surprises of watching a film for the first time, at least I know when I can go to the concession stand and not miss much.

If you, like Drew, do not want to know anything new about it, or the movie, stop reading now. There are lots of other great news items to read about, including an awesome "Cars 2" article about frighteningly violent Pixar movies have become, just a few posts down. If not, video and more after the jump.

I really appreciate how the Harry Potter films and their themes have matured as harry has grown older to suit older characters. Unfortunately for Harry, getting older means meeting his destiny which may be his doom (Haven't read the books.) Older means darker, but either way it looks  like it will be a hell of a ride.

The "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" trailer is no less dark than the previous trailers, and features more destruction than we've seen before. This includes the burning of the Qudditch court (field? stadium?) and the all out attack on Hogwarts by the forces of eevil, the dissolution of the Hogwarts protective field and lots and lots of Hogwart's on fire.

We get a glimpse of some dragon riding, some mine shaft roller-coaster type action, Harry shivering on the street like Midnight Cowboy, and even a bit of Harry's parents. Call me crazy, but I get the feeling there will be a lot of wand-fighting in this movie, as there are literally hundreds of wand zaps in this trailer alone.

Watch the trailer embedded above (or don't!) and be sure to hit the event page below to set a reminder for when you're able to buy tickets. I don't think you're going to want to miss this one.
