August 21, 2010 at 3:28PM EST Reply to CommentChristmas in August! The choirs! The horns! The strings! The Soofie! I raise my hands...I am one of the delighted people! This is a stunning "EP" and much more than I could ever hope for. When I saw Sufjan last October at Lee's in Toronto, "All Delighted People" was on his setlist then and I had been hoping that we'd soon have a properly recorded version of it...here it is...and I am in awe! I listening as I write...for about the fourth time...and loving it...every single solitary bit of it! Thank you, Sufjan, for deciding to record and release this to us...I can't think of a better way to celebrate a rainy August day with such a soul-stirring Christmas gift!
