HitFix ready to visit 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' set

What do you want to know about the second chapter of the 'Twilight' saga?

HitFix ready to visit 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' set

Will HitFix get to talk to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner?  We'll find out later this week.

A legion of fans are going to be very envious regarding my destination tomorrow night.  Having already visited the set of the original "Twilight" a year ago in the wilds of Oregon while I was chronicling the world of movies at MSN, I'm lucky enough to be going back-to-back as I head to Vancouver for a sneak peek of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."

First time around I and one other journalist got a gift that is a rarity nowadays: a 45 minute interview with a relaxed and blunter than he'll ever be again Robert Pattinson.  Don't expect that to happen this time around, but, no doubt director Chris Weitz will want to share his vision for the second chapter in the "Twilight" saga.  Who else will HitFix get to chat with?  Unclear, but it should be a very busy day.

Summit is smartly embargoing our stories for a bit to wet everyone's appetite, but you can follow my journey to some extent over the next few days on Twitter.  Or, why not participate?  This writer has purposely avoided reading any of the novels to come at the series from a strictly cinematic perspective (a decision that has worked well for the "Harry Potter" franchise).  However, I'd love to know what you, the fans, would like to find out about the movie. What are you most curious about?  What would you ask Chris Weitz if you could?  Dakota Fanning? Or, a member of the Wolfpack?

Post your questions and thoughts in our comment section below.  If you haven't done so already, take 90 seconds to join the site here and then you'll easily be able to post your question.

ammcwhirter Big fan can't wait to see the movie. Been counting the days, literally.
    Questions I'd love to ask:
To Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and/or Taylor Lautner: What scenes are you looking forward to doing? Is there any part in particular you are not looking forward to doing? Is there anyone you'd like to see portraying any member of the Volturi?
    To director Chris Weitz:
Is there a pivotal part of the movie that has been cut out? Like the Meadow scene in the first Twilight? What I mean is, are you or have you cut anything major out of the story the we as the fans are really gonna miss?

JRouge I'd like to know if they've talked to David Slade yet, and what they think of him for Eclipse. Not that I expect any sort of real answer, lol

Also - if you get the chance to speak to Rob, I would be interested in his take on the added Edward scenes in New Moon. In pre-New Moon interviews he was pretty adamant that any added Edward would pretty much ruin the movie... again, not sure I can expect an honest answer from our newly media-savvy Rob :p

    alisonb Here's my questions

    1. Since Weitz came on board the project as Director has he had any impact on the script. Has he personally made any changes to the script or suggested changes that were taken on board.

    2. Robert Pattinson has mentioned in an E Online Interview that he appears in a demonic guise at one point during one of Bella's dreams. Can you find out more about that scene and if he appears in that form during any other scenes.

    3. Kristen Stewart said in an E Online Interview that Edward isnt so perfect in new Moon. Can you find out other than the demonic scenes how that manifests itself.

    4. Is there a likelihood that some of the dream sequences will get cut if the film comes in at too long a length or are there other scenes that might get cut e.g the cinema scene with Mike and Jacob. The dream scenes in twilight got cut so I hope that this wont happen again.

    5. Will Rob and Kristen sign for Breaking Dawn. Indeed are they already signed to do it. Is there a possibility that there may be two films. Splitting the book in half.

If you are allowed to ask about Non New Moon projects can you please ask Robert Pattinson for any information on his other projects - Remember me and Bel Ami based Guy de Maupassant's book. Is he playing the lead in Bel Ami and is it being filmed in french.

    fauv Questions:
Q1. have they worked out a way to do a better sparkle on Edward because it was appallingly badly done in Twilight.
Q2.The same applies to the Vampire running. Have the worked out a more sophisticated effect to show Edward running fast.
Q3.Have there been any scenes that they are unsure whether to add to the finished product but are filming anyway. What scenes at this moment in time have the potential to be cut.

Q4.Will the demon version of Edward have fangs.

Q5.Are Summit trying to get Rob Pattinson to include music in New Moon. His singng in Twilight fitted perfectly. He has said he wont be but then a new quote said 'never say never' so I'm wondering if he has softened to the idea.
Q6.Are Kristen and Rob speeding up their delivery in this film because it seemed strangely hesitant in Twilight.
Q7.Do you get to see a dream of Bella as a vampire. Thats the rumour at the moment. Bella and Edward hunting for deer.
Q8.As Rob Pattinson is going to Cannes to promote his new film REMEMBER ME is he at liberty to tell you anything about it.For instance is he happy with the final script and the casting of the other characters.
Q9.Finally is Rob Pattinson definitely going to be playing the lead in Bel Ami. Hope so.

alcalways i dont really have a question, sorta more of an answer for me. i think you should consider two songs for the new moon movie soundtrack

    1. Damien Rice- The Blowers Daughter
    2. Lifehouse- Storm (spesh for the part when bella does extreme sports)

    thanks!

Felluhneez Anyone in general: Do you think as the "darker side" of vampires is revealed in the movies, there will be a sense of horror added into the movie alongside the concept of forbidden love?

Felluhneez Oh and I also have a some songs to consider for the series. "Lullaby" by The Spill Canvas. "Hush" by Juliet Simms and "Boats and Birds" by Gregory and the Hawk.

hannahpattz This is for Rob or Kristen.

We all know you value the fans love for the books and film and obviously you, but when you're constantly being judged, photographed and poked, do you ever wish the fans would just back up out of your face? In the nicest way possible of course.

Nnenna Rob: You seem to wear the same clothes. Do you hate shopping?:)
Taylor: Jacob is supposed to be 6ft 5' in the book but Rob is taller than you I believe. Are you going to be made taller for the movie?

Lindsaytrips Here is some questions that I would like to hear about.

    1. Do you ever want to create a hit list on the blog and gossip sites?

    2. You have been on the road now for over a year, do you ever want to say give me a moment to collect my thoughts and go back to finding myself in this production?

    3. All of you have had the taste of your personal life splashed on the internet and pages. Do you feel that it is unfair?

    4. This could be a Robert or Kristen question. Can you be yourself and still be an actor?

    5. Another Robert, Kristen or Taylor one. When has love been real to you?

    6. Everyone talks about the public life all of the actors have had since this hit the screens but no one has asked at what cost?

    7. Do you see any danger signs out there now that you want to either turn around or not make happen?

    8. Are you worried that you are only a You Tube or blog or gossip site away from having this go down the drain?

Would love to hear from the cast more questions about them personally, then what they eat, how they poop or who they are pooping with. Come on now, treat them as the people they are, not this seek and destroy mission to claim their fame. Hopefully HitFix will do the job right! Good Luck!

Eve To Rob/Kristen: As the up and coming actors in this industry, how do you deal with the everyday stress? I've just seen to many wonderful actor/actress who needed rehab for whatever because they couldn't deal with fame. What is your "outlet"? We've seen the chemistry between you both in the movie, and I know you are just friends...will you let the media's absurd accusations keep you from getting together as friends? Lastly, will you be touring as much to promote New Moon as you did Twilight? If so, good luck with the fans, I hope they respect your space and love you guys up with out making you feel attacked! Thanks for your time!

Leanne For Chris Weitz. If at all possible, please do not put too much stock in time restraints. What I mean is, as a fan I would much rather have the movie be 2.5 hours long, then to have scenes cut out. I usually don't speak for others, but I"m pretty sure that most fans would agree with this. We really do want to see it all
