Watch: Two hot new scenes from 'GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra'
Can Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans save Paris?
Channing Tatum as Duke in "Gi Joe: The Rise of Cobra."
In what may be one of the biggest surprises of the summer (and possibly even to its own studio, Paramount), "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra" may not be the giant turd everyone thought it would be. Initial online reviews have been surprisingly positive (even to the reviewers) and Paramount is now bullish on what should be a very strong opening next week.
In order to wet your appetite for what could be the comeback move of the summer, check out these two new action packed scenes. Both find Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) attempting to stop the Baroness (Sienna Miller) from destroying Paris. It's trademark CG overload from "Mummy" director Stephen Sommers, but, um, it sort of looks fun.
