Watch: 'The Last Airbender' teaser trailer
Paramount offers a first look at M. Night Shyamalan's adaptation of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'
'The Last Airbender'
Paramount has released the first trailer from "The Last Airbender."
The studio would no doubt like audiences to look at "The Last Airbender" as the live-action adaptation of the beloved Emmy-winning animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender," rather than as M. Night Shyamalan's follow-up to "The Happening."
"The Last Airbender," which will be Shyamalan's first film from pre-existing material, stars Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, and Dev Patel and will be released on July 2, 2010.
For viewers who want to see the teaser on the big screen, it will play in front of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" starting late Tuesday night.
Otherwise, check out your first glimpses of "The Last Airbender":
