Stanley Tucci has long enjoyed a certain amount of respect both among his fans and his peers. He is always a solid performer and his directing of films such as "Big Night" adds another layer of gravitas to his persona.

Fans of his directing work will be heartened to hear that he will be working next year with Tina Fey and Meryl Streep on a project called "Mommy and Me." While talking to HitFix, Mr. Tucci said the project was definitely "not a farce" like his film "The Impostors."
"It's probably closer to 'Postcards From The Edge' or 'The Devil Wears Prada,' both are incredibly funny, but there's a real depth there."

In "Easy A," Tucci and Patricia Clarkson play the parents to main character Olive, (Emma Stone.) The two have worked together before, playing a married couple in  the low budget "Blind Date." According to the actor, they improved a lot on the set. "Patty and I are good friends… almost to the point where people think we're dating. It was the easiest thing in the world to play her husband."

"Easy A" opens September 17th everywhere
