Paramount Pictures released a new trailer for Michael Bay's third and likely last "Transformers" epic, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" this afternoon and the veteran director is clearly attempting to make up for the last installment, "Revenge of the Fallen."

The stakes seem much more serious this time around as Sam (Shia LaBeouf), his new girlfriend Carly (newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) and veteran soldiers Robert (Tyrese "Fast Five World Tour 2011 Baby" Gibson) and Lennox (Josh "Don't call me Fergie's husband" Duhamel) have to deal with some pissed off sentient robots attempting to take over the planet.  And just to mix things up, it's not New York or Los Angeles that's getting ripped apart, it's Oprah's old digs in Chicago.

"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" will take no prisoners (that means you "Monte Carlo") on July 1 in IMAX and 3D.
