Watch: Penn Badgley talks 'Easy A' and being Woodchuck Todd
'Gossip Girl' star thrives on the pace of working two jobs
"Gossip Girl's" Penn Badgley sat down to talk with HitFix's Gregory Elwood and discuss his new film "Easy A" with Emma Stone, and Staneley Tucci. In the film he plays Woodchuck Todd, the love interest of Olive (Stone.)
"Easy A" is based loosely on "The Scarlett Letter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The film centers on a high school girl who let's her reputation be ruined by pretending to go out with many boys of the nerdy variety to improve their reputation. She is hounded by a zealously religious Marianne, played by Amanda Bynes.
High School comedies based on classic literature have become almost a genre unto themselves, and "Easy A" is sizing up to be one of your better ones. Mr. Badgley discussed his world travels, wearing the Woodchuck suit, and watching Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson work together. "I love watching them, I could watch them make cheese" said Badgley.

"Easy A" opens nationwide tomorrow, September 17th
