The trailer to the Michael Jackson rehearsal footage film "This Is It" was revealed at the end of the broadcast of MTV's Video Music Awards last night, and it was a heck of a way to sign off. Check out the clip below.

As promised, there's loads of never-before-seen video of the "This Is It" concert event prep, with Michael busting out some moves, and his backing cast even more so. With kind pull quotes from those who work with the King of Pop, it's clear this film will be as much of a memorial to his hard work for the stint as just a general view into the concert world.

There's some footage of the rehearsals, plus clips of MJ speaking at the This Is It press conference and glimpses at some of his most popular music video moments. Overall, the movie looks like it is set to, well, thrill.

It would surprise it if movies like this inspire fans to watch films like "Fame" or pick up on "So You Think You Can Dance."

The movie hits theaters in a limited, two-week run starting Oct. 28, with tickets going up on Sept. 27.
