Playing coy with confusion in the interwebs, EMI released a brand new video for Eva Simons' "Silly Boy" on Thursday.

The track has garnered a popular following online with over 10 million downloads with fans seemingly believing the track was either by Lady GaGa, Pink or Rihanna.  Now, the song's very slick video is revealing the truth about the 25-year-old Dutch singer/songwriter.

"Silly Boy" is infectious and the video is very well done (puts some of GaGa's videos to shame), but EMI should be very careful about how closely Simons style seems to the lady who brought electro-dance back to the pop charts.  When you are viewed as a pretender it's never good for long term success (something Simons should be well aware of after the short term run of her previous band Raffish).  And on a random note: is that Kylie Minogue's car from the "Can't Get You Out of My Head" video?
