Chatting with Alex O'Loughlin about his upcoming romantic comedy "The Back-Up Plan," HitFix's Gregory Ellwood managed to slip in a question about the star's CBS pilot reboot of "Hawaii Five-O" and although he insisted he couldn't say much, he offered a taste of what fans might expect.
The remake pilot, which recently finished production in Hawaii, co-stars Scott Caan, Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim, but the real topliner is O'Loughlin, stepping into Jack Lord's shoes as Detective Steve McGarrett.
This would be O'Loughlin's third show for CBS -- following "Moonlight" and "Three Rivers" -- and it should also be noted that "The Back-Up Plan" is a CBS Films production. Somebody has a crush!
While there wasn't much O'Loughlin could share about his pilot, he dropped a few hints to HitFix about the new remake's new style and the pressure of following Lord.
