Fast National ratings for Sunday, May 10, 2009.

With finales for "The Amazing Race," "The Celebrity Apprentice," "Cold Case," "The Unit" and "Brothers & Sisters," there was plenty to watch on Sunday night, but the results followed the normal trend: CBS won the night overall, but ABC controlled the 18-49 demographic.

Among adults 18-49, ABC did a 2.9 rating, edging the 2.5 rating for NBC and CBS' 2.4 rating. FOX's 1.9 rating was fourth, followed the the 0.3 rating for The CW.

Overall, though, CBS averaged an estimated 10.46 million viewers in primetime to go with a 6.3 rating/11 share. ABC was a close second with a 5.6/10, followed by the 4.8/9 for NBC and the 2.7/5 for FOX. The CW's 0.7/1 trailed.

CBS started the night strong with a 6.3/13 for "60 Minutes." ABC was a distant second with "America's Funniest Home Videos." "Dateline NBC" took third with a 2.7/6, beating FOX's "Sit Down, Shut Up" (1.1/2) and a repeat of "American Dad" (1.6/3). The CW's repeat of "Jericho" was fifth for the hour with a 0.5/1.

The "Amazing Race" finale gave CBS a 5.9/10 in the 8 p.m. hour. ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" was second with a 4.8/9. NBC took third with the first hour of the finale for "The Celebrity Apprentice." FOX's "The Simpsons" and "King of the Hill" averaged a 2.8/5 between them. The CW's Random Movie of the Night was "The Spy Who Loved Me."

ABC grabbed first at 9 p.m. with a 7.6/12 for "Desperate Housewives," which nipped the 7.2/12 for CBS' "Cold Case." NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" was up to a 5.7/9 in third. FOX's "Family Guy" and "American Dad" took fourth, beating the 0.8/1 for The CW's movie.

NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" won the 10 p.m. hour with a 6.5/11, topping the 6.1/10 for th finale of "Brothers & Sisters" on ABC. CBS' "The Unit" finale was a close third.
