TV Ratings: 'Sing Off' finale battles CBS Monday repeats
CBS leads overall and in the demo with 'Big Bang Theory' and 'Two and a Half Men'

Fast National ratings for Monday, December 21, 2009.
The finale of NBC's "The Sing Off" helped the network beat CBS' comedy repeats at 8 p.m., but CBS took control in the 9 p.m. hour and eventually carried the night.
Among adults 18-49, CBS averaged a 2.4 rating, with NBC's 2.1 rating following closely in the key demographic. FOX's 1.4 rating and the 1.3 rating for ABC were close behind. The CW trailed with a 0.3 rating.
Overall, CBS averaged an estimated 8.18 million viewers to go with a 5.2 rating/9 share. NBC was second with a 4.2/7. ABC's 3.1/5 and the 2.8/4 for FOX followed, leaving The CW in fifth again with a 0.

Like we promised, NBC won the 8 p.m. hour with a 4.4/7 for "The Sing Off," which also did a 2.2 rating in the key demo. CBS' repeats of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Accidentally on Purpose" finished second with a 3.5/6. ABC's "I Want a Dog For Christmas" was third, nipping the 3.1/5 for FOX's "House" repeat. The CW's "One Tree Hill" repeat was fifth with a 0.6/1.
CBS moved into first at 9 p.m. with the 6.4/10 for "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory," which also averaged a 3.2 rating in the key demo. NBC's "Sing Off" finale was up to a 4.5/7 in its second hour. ABC finished third with a new "Find My Family," which had a 3.2/5. FOX's "Lie to Me" repeat did a 2.5/4 for fourth. The CW's "Gossip Girl" repeat trailed.
A "CSI: Miami" repeat won the 10 p.m. hour with a 5.8/10 and a 2.4 rating in the demo. NBC's "The Jay Leno Show" was second with a 3.8/6. ABC was third with a "Castle" repeat.
