Fast National ratings for Friday, May 1, 2009.

There was no real drama at the top of the Friday night ratings, with CBS' procedural trio cruising to victory, so instead we're looking mostly at the signs for the lackluster penultimate episode of "Dollhouse."

Among adults 18-49, CBS won Friday with a 2.2 rating. ABC was second in the coveted demographic with a 1.6 rating, followed by the 1.3 rating for NBC and the 1.0 rating for FOX. The CW wasn't far back with a 0.7 rating.

Overall, CBS averaged  an estimated 9.63 million viewers, to go with a 6.1 rating/11 share. ABC was a distant second with a 3.5/6 for ABC and NBC's 3.3/6. FOX's 2.0/4 and The CW's 1.0/2 trailed.

The CBS primetime sweep began at 8 p.m. with a 6.2/12 for "Ghost Whisperer." ABC's "Wife Swap" was second, beating the 2.1/4 for FOX's "Prison Break." NBC's "Howie Do It" was close behind, edging the 1.1/2 for The CW's "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Game."

"Flashpoint" held onto a 6.0/11 to give the 9 p.m. hour to CBS. NBC's "Dateline" was second with a 3.6/6, while ABC's "Supernanny" had a 3.2/6 for third. FOX's "Dollhouse" had a 1.9/3 in fourth. While the Joss Whedon's drama's overall viewership was up slightly to an estimated 3.09 million (it fell just below 3 million last week), the rating in the 18-49 demo was down to a 1.1 and other young demos were also down. "Dollhouse," which has its season finale next Friday, at least beat The CW's "America's Next Top Model" repeat.

CBS stayed in first at 10 p.m. with a 6.0/11 for "Num3rs." ABC was back in second with a 4.4/8 for "20/20," which nipped NBC's "Dateline."

All ratings information comes from preliminary Fast National Nielsen data, which includes live and same-day DVR viewing. All numbers are subject to change.
