Fast National ratings for Thursday, June 11, 2009.

With an overtime win, the Los Angeles Lakers put themselves within a game of a possible NBA title, but ABC is probably hoping the Orlando Magic have a little more fight left in them.

Carried by Game Five coverage from the NBA Finals, ABC averaged a strong 4.4 rating among adults 18-49. FOX was a respectable second in the key demographic with a 2.4 rating, followed by the 1.6 rating for CBS and NBC's 1.5 rating. The CW trailed with a 0.5 rating.

Overall, ABC averaged an estimated 11.29 million viewers in primetime to go with a 6.8 rating/12 share. CBS was second with a 5.1/9, with FOX's 4.5/8 right behind. NBC's 2.8/5 and the 0.9/2 for The CW were pretty far back.

ABC swept the night, starting at 8 p.m. with a 5.4/10 for NBA Finals pre-game and tip-off. FOX was second with a 3.7/7 for "Bones," while CBS' double-dip of "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and NBC's "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here" were tied for third with a 3.3/6. The CW was fifth with "Smallville."

The Lakers and Magic improved to a 7.5/12 in the 9 p.m. hour for ABC. CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" had a 5.8/10 for second. FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" results show was third with a 5.3/9, but finished second in the 18-49 demographic. NBC was fourth with "The Office" and "30 Rock," which beat the 0.9/1 for The CW's "Supernatural."

In the 10 p.m. hour, ABC's NBA Finals coverage did a 7.3/13. CBS' "The Mentalist" improved on its lead-in to stay second. NBC's "The Listener" had a 3.0/5, down very slightly from its first week.
